MFA THESIS ARCHISTORIES
Archistories hypothetical organization uses federal grants and philanthropy to
provide preservation and restoration programs for historically essential structures in
the United States.
Coming originally from Armenia I was fortunate to be surrounded by the unbelievably rich cultural and architectural heritage of one of the oldest civilizations. Architecture’s being one of the defining features of our identity reimined me of the importance of protecting it and lead to my thesis project, which aims to preserve and restore the architectural heritage of the US.
As one of its main activities Archistories organizes exhibits that present a particular style in a certain city in order to raise money and contribute to preservation programs.
